Please note that your family must participate in our Family Catechesis program for at least a year before your child begins immediate preparation for any sacrament.

Preparation for this sacrament at the Newman Center takes place primarily in the home and on two particular family retreat days when all those preparing come together for shared activities and reflection.

Each family receives a First Reconciliation Student Book with parent pages published by Pflaum. We provide supplemental materials in the weeks of immediate preparation for this sacrament.
