Opportunities

• Weekly Mass Ensembles: These ministers provide the musical leadership for the five weekend Masses. Singers and instrumentalists are welcome. Rehearsal times are Tuesdays from 7-9pm. Rehearsal time before Mass is also required.
• Cantors: Singers who are confident and possess exceptional vocal skills are invited to serve the community as cantors. An audition is required and training will be provided by the Newman Center.
• Instrumental Soloists: In addition to providing support to sung prayer, instrumentalists may at times be given the opportunity to play solos as prelude or meditation for a Sunday Mass or special liturgy.
• Workshops: Throughout the year, skill-building workshops will be presented, covering a variety of music and liturgy topics.
• Conventions: Each year, some music and/or dance ministers will have the opportunity to attend the National Pastoral Musicians Convention.
