The Newman Center has a number of opportunities for those who need community service hours for scholarships, classes, probation, and for those who would like to donate their time to assist us in our ministry here. We’re located within walking distance from campus. Your help is welcomed and greatly appreciated. Newman Community Service Groups

• St Vincent de Paul: The St. Vincent de Paul Chapter at this Newman Center reaches out to serve students who are in need financially.  If you are interested in becoming more involved in St. Vincent de Paul or would like more information please contact the St. Vincent de Paul chapter at (480) 233-0032 or by email.
• Andre House/Soup Kitchen: The Newman Center has been active in serving dinner on Wednesday nights at Andre House and plan on continuing this tradition throughout the school year. Meet in the Newman Center at 5 p.m. to carpool. If you would like more information about Andre House, contact Lourdes Alonso.
• The Andre House Clothing Volunteers’ mission is to collect and sort clothing for the homeless men and women served by Andre House in downtown Phoenix. We meet at 9:45 a.m. on the 2nd Monday of each month at the SE corner of the Tempe Public Library parking lot and carpool down to Andre House. • Tempe I-Help prepares and serves meals two Sunday's a month to the Homeless in Tempe. Please contact Jeanie Ghan for more information, azghanclan@hotmail.com
• Maggie’s Place: Maggie’s Place is a place of hospitality for pregnant women who are homeless. Maggie’s Place has a need for many different types of volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering at Maggie’s Place you can reach them at (602) 257-4648.
