20/30 Ministry for twenty-/thirty-somethingsAre you in your 20s or 30s? Are you looking for a group of Catholic peers to help you walk your faith? Married, engaged, or single...Catholic or discerning...upperclassman, graduate student, or young professional...we invite you to join us! The 20/30 Ministry at All Saints Catholic Newman Center fosters spiritual growth, encourages a spirit of service, and builds community and fellowship through activities and events. There’s no membership required, and we love to welcome new people!Upcoming Events:August 7th: Volunteer at Maggie's Place at 8:00 AM or at Arizona Food Bank at 1:00 PM. September 15: Welcome BBQ! Learn about our ministry and meet other young adults and hear about our upcoming events! October 1: Pre-retreat Event. Get to know other participants in advance. Fall Retreat: Life on Purpose! October 8-10. Scroll down for more information!Ongoing Activities:Fellowship after 7pm Sunday Mass: Many 20/30 ministry participants choose to attend the 7pm Mass on Sundays and you can often find them sitting on the left side of the Altar as you enter the Main Chapel. If you are up for a little fellowship after Mass, introduce yourself and chat with those that linger. Many participants enjoy a weekly trip to Four Peaks in Tempe, AZ for dinner or to Chill for a cool treat. Please join us! Monthly Mass: Join us on the third Wednesday every month at 7:30 PM for our 20/30's Monthly Mass! Men's Night (2nd and 4th Mondays at 7:30pm): All men are invited to men's group. Grow closer to God while providing eachother with some accountability and strong Christian friendships. One night each month will be "meat night" - we'll grill and enjoy some fellowship. The other will be an discussion night with a presentation and discussion about a topic relevant to our faith and our time. Women's Faith Sharing Group (2nd and 4th Mondays 7pm): The women's faith sharing group will meet in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel at the Newman Centers throughout the semester. We will be working through the book "A Closer Walk With Christ" by Fr. Gawronski. Most of our night is centered on sharing about various aspect of our relationship with Christ. Although it's wonderful to read the chapters and journal throughout your week - you are still be able to participate even if you do not have the book or have not read.
